Volunteers

At St Mary’s, our parent body is known for its strong sense of community and unwavering support for the school and its many initiatives.

We are deeply grateful for every parent and carer who volunteers their time. Their contributions consistently enrich, inspire, and enhance our school environment. Volunteering is a wonderful way to connect with other families, students, and staff, and to play an active role in school life.

Members of our school community are warmly invited to get involved in a variety of ways, including:

  • School Advisory Group
  • Parents and Friends Association
  • Class Parents
  • Canteen Volunteers
  • Mother’s and Father’s Day Breakfasts
  • School Excursion Assistance
  • School Sport Coaching Assistance
  • Reading Volunteers
  • Family Mass (held on the 4th Sunday of each month)
  • And much more…

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, anyone assisting regularly in classrooms or playgrounds is required to complete a Working with Children Check. Please complete this form before volunteering at school or during excursions.

All visitors to the school must also sign in and out at the front office.
