Faith and Mission

At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Manly, Catholic Life and Mission are at the heart of everything we do. We are called to listen with compassion and love with purpose, inspired by the mission of Christ.

We aim to nurture young people in Catholic discipleship, helping them grow as learners and empowering them to make meaningful contributions to both their local and global communities.

Prayer and Reflection

Faith is woven into daily life at St Mary’s. Through prayer, reflection, and action, students learn to apply their knowledge, skills, and values to make a difference in the world. Our commitment to Catholic Social Teaching is brought to life through our Faith and Learning in Action initiative, which connects classroom learning with real-world service.

Students participate in a range of outreach and social justice programs, including:

  • Project Compassion (Caritas Australia)
  • Winter Appeal and Christmas Hampers (St Vincent de Paul Society)
  • Socktober (Catholic Mission)

These experiences help our students develop empathy, gratitude, and a strong sense of responsibility for others—locally and globally.
