St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Manly maintains a close and vibrant connection with the Parish of Manly Freshwater, offering a comprehensive Sacramental Program for our students and families within the broader community.
We work in partnership with the Parish Representative, Michelle Ellis, to deliver engaging and meaningful experiences that help children deepen their understanding of faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Our aim is for each child to feel personally called to Jesus—as a friend and guide.
The Sacramental Program is supported by our Religious Education curriculum and enriched through active participation in parish life. This includes:
- Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation
- Opportunities for prayer, reflection, and liturgical celebration
- Altar Server training offered by the parish for students in the primary years
- Staff involvement, with many trained as Eucharistic Ministers
