See our State-of-the-Art STEM Program in Action

Come and see what all the excitement is about!

This week we made the news with details of our new state-of-the-art “STEM” Program. Teachers at St Mary’s have been trained by the University of Sydney to deliver this new program that allows students to develop  their own research question to investigate. The topics they select need to be real world issues such as sustainability and littering and the students need to develop a solution for this. This method of teaching involves testing and re-testing of scientific methods and through this process children will learn by their mistakes and challenge themselves to try different avenues to achieve an outcome.

You are invited to come and see our STEM program in action and view our wonderful school at our Open Day/Evening on Tuesday 21st May at 9.00am and 7.00pm.  Ideal for families of preschool aged children. All Welcome!
