Year 2 went to Hornsby Shire Historical Society on Thursday 20th June. I learnt that sock washing was actually fun! Olden day things have survived because people took care of them and thought they were still useful. Life is easier now because when we wash our socks and clothes we put it in a washing machine instead of washing it with our hands.
